FORS Professional Joining Instructions
Please read the following information carefully before attending your training session on FORS Professional Virtual Classroom (VC).
You must attend the full webinar and pass the webinar assessment in order for your FORS Professional training record to be uploaded. Attendance will be checked by the trainer at the start of the webinar and throughout.
Before the webinar
- Read and action all information included in your FORS Professional booking confirmation
- Log in to the FORS Professional VC with time to spare to make sure you can deal with any issues if required. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have an adequate internet connection for the session
- Once you have logged in, you will be placed in a ‘lobby’ until 15 mins prior to the published time, at which point you will be able to join the session
- You must have your camera turned on for the duration of the webinar. Your attendance will not be uploaded to the FORS Professional training register if you refuse to do so and you will not be refunded for the training
- Please remember that others will be able to see you and talk to you, so you should be in a suitable location. When choosing the location, you may want to think about the following:
- The lighting – try not to have a window or strong light behind you
- The distractions – try to reduce these to a minimum
- The learning environment – try to have the following available: paper, pens, drinks etc
- You will enter the platform on “mute”. Please unmute for the introductions and any required participation, then mute again. This is to ensure there are no background noises disrupting the course for others, and to maintain high volume quality for all
After the webinar
- There will be a short assessment made up of 10 random questions. You will have three attempts and you must answer seven out of 10 questions correctly in order for your training records to be uploaded to the FORS Professional training register. To access the assessment, go back to the ‘Lobby’ and click on ‘Go to programme’ then click on ‘Start course’ to begin the assessment
- You can also download the course workbook from the ‘Go to programme’ section
- Certificates are available to download one hour after the webinar ends for Collision Management, Time Smart, and Fleet Management Essentials. FORS Practitioner qualification certificates are emailed by FORS Training once records have been reconciled and it is confirmed that all 10 workshops have been completed
- If not already done, please update your FORS Professional VC profile account with your driving licence number for greater accuracy of records
