What is FORS accreditation?
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS), is a clear framework to help vehicle operators be safer, smarter and greener.
It is voluntary, and businesses join to show they meet high standards for managing vehicles and drivers.
Which accreditation is right for me?
The right FORS accreditation depends on your business needs and goals. FORS offer different levels Bronze, Silver, and Gold each with specific standards:
- Bronze: For companies starting out with safety and management basics.
- Silver: For those focusing on environmental impact and operational efficiency.
- Gold: For businesses demonstrating exceptional performance and best practices.
How do I register for eLearning?
- Log in or create an account: If you are new to eLearning, sign up for an eLearning account. If you already have one, log in.
- Access eLearning: Navigate to the eLearning dashboard.
- Choose your modules: Select the courses you want to take based on your needs or accreditation requirements.
- Start learning: Begin modules at your own pace.

How long does it take to get accredited?
The time it takes to get FORS accredited depends on your business and which level you’re aiming for:
Bronze accreditation:
- Preparation: Gather evidence, complete training, and ensure your operations meet FORS Bronze standards. This can take a few weeks to a few months. This will depend on your starting point.
- Audit: Once ready, book and pass a Bronze audit, which typically takes a day to complete.
Silver and Gold accreditation:
- After achieving Bronze, you can work towards Silver and Gold. These levels have more advanced standards, so the process may take more months. This will depend on your business’s progress and resources.
